24th January 2021 Update: We are still open despite the England Lockdown measures. Please be patient as we are working as quickly & safely as we can during this time.
Introducing our new range of handles designed to suit the oil artist who wants to 'stand back' from their easel and paint & observe. This way of painting was very popular with the 'Old Masters' and we hope they help modern day artists to create beautiful works.
A special thank you to Californian 'Master' oil artist Alexey Steele for his expert help in deciding the weight and balance of these handles which are so crucial to the way in which they work. We will add more sizes/shapes as and when they become available.
The Ivory is synthetic bristle at its best, a cross between the feel of nylon and hog bristle. The oval end can be used to both make sweeping strokes but also fine lines when held vertically.
