By request I have blended several natural hairs with a fantastic result for the oil artist who wants the feel and performance of Sable at a lower cost. ‘Ebony’ offers a velvet touch and yet is strong enough to work with oil, by far the closest I have come to imitating the characteristics of Sable. Offered in three basic shapes on traditional long handles, I’m sure this range will become an oil painters favourite.
NB: Long handles are approximately 11” and vary depending on the diameter of the ferrule to offer a perfect balance.
